  • I'd like to thank the VA liason at my school for screwing me out of my gap payment by not reporting my continued enrollment to the VA like she was supposed to.  Therefore, the money that I was depending on to pay for my books and tuition is now gone.  I'll have to take the money out of my normal pay, which means there will be much scrimping and saving.

Of course even with sacrificing normal spending I still won’t be able to keep the classes that I originally picked (the second half of the last accounting course and business law).  So thanks a lot, I hope you die in a fire.

In case you missed the new tagline, I'm also going to be using this as not just my blog; but my training log as well.  Don't worry, it's not my plan to go all training.  I plan on having some personal details in each post as well.

The training part may not be too exciting to read; but I really don't care because it's there for me not for you.  Having everything written down by date means that it will be easier for me to look up my past workouts without having to worry about losing a notebook.  Although I still have a notebook for immediate record keeping.

    Training Log - Yesterday

    Rapid Ascent Trio
    Front Squats
    Military Press
    Power Clean

All lifts with the same weight and all 8/6/4.  One minute rest periods only.

Still trying to perfect my technique since it's been a while since I've been allowed to lift by the doctor.  I originally  tried too early on my own and the increased blood pressure caused the septoplasty area to bleed, thus lengthening my recovery time.

The only lift I had problems with was the front squat, mainly because I've never done it before.  The other sleight issue I have with it is that my arm length requires me to use the cross armed stance instead of the olympic hold.
