  • Once again I have classes at CC for this fall.  My original classes were dropped due to non-payment because the school’s VA rep had failed to meet a deadline, thus screwing me out of a decent amount of money.

I was tempted to just put filler classes in my schedule; but I managed to resist the urge and I dug through until I found a couple classes that I could make work (both day/time and subject matter).  Thankfully I was able to still get into the computer programming class I wanted.  At a less desirable date and time; but at least I was able to get it. Instead of the second Accounting class in their series, I’ll be beginning the first Economics class in their series.

    Training Log - Friday

I almost went the lazy route and did nothing due to some residual sorenes, mainly in the serratas region.  Fortunately I overcame the urge and got myself to do some work that wouldn't directly involve that area.

    Bent Over Rows
    Deadlifts
    Good Mornings
    all 3x5

    Training Log - Saturday

I didn’t mean to take Saturday as a rest day; but it just happened.  It wasn’t until the next day that I slapped my forehead in frustration at having forgot to workout the previous day.

    Training Log - Sunday

Rapid Ascent lifts again.  Bumped up the weight as prescribed and ended up failing the military press on the second and third sets (at 3 reps both times).  Next time I’m going to try moving front squats to the end.  It seems like I waste too much arm energy getting the bar set.

    Training Log - Monday

Alternated between Sumo deadlift high-pulls to failure and pullups to failure.  All reps were done explosively.  I was done after eight and a half minutes.

  • Yes, I know it was only one extreme side but it's the side that is most normally seen and talked about.  And I never said overweight...there are a ton of health risks with being overweight but not necessarily with being big.  Just because you are bigger than the average person doesn't mean that you have more health risks.  I just don't think it's right that the image being shown are these tiny girls when most women will never reach that.  I know my mom had problems with her weight and she would always compare herself to me (I'm a size 0...but not by choice).  I think the message should just be to get healthy and how to get there and not that you have to be stick thin in order to be that way.

  • nah, ive only had real jobs at breton village mall... naked plates, and metro.... well... "real" jobs anyway. one gave me no hours, and one gives me no money.

meijers i know is a deathtrap, but its money and work... *sigh* which i really need now. :(

    have an awesome day!
